The consumed all scratched the same crooked rune into their lamp housings. Old focus-mark, used to carry a work chant through stone. There must be an idol somewhere in these galleries gathering the crystal's song. Find it, examine the runes, and bring me whatever is at its heart.

A focusing idol... and this crystal was fitted by dwarven hands. Whatever waits below did not simply wake up. It taught one of ours how to build the lure. The worst of the miners guard the deep works now. We call them the Tormented.
