The animals beyond the post are blistered and starving. They keep coming back to the same foul pools. Our scouts can dodge one wolf; they cannot drag a supply litter through a whole pack. Take the eastern loop north of this post. Thin the wolves and put down the worst of the bears. Bring help if you can, and use the bends to separate a pull.

The sick animals gather east of the relief road. The wider muddy pockets give you room to fall back.

That buys the next runners a clear stretch. These wounds are wrong, though. Something upstream is getting into the water.
