Before your first real contract, Quartermaster Harken wants you to see Camp Cook Mara by the river to the west and learn a trick that keeps mercenaries breathing.

Before I hand you a real contract, do yourself a favor. There's a cook down by the river just west of here - Mara. She'll show you how a hot meal can be the difference between walking home and getting carried. Go see her; she'll set you right and point you where you're needed next.
