The ferry keeper maintained a shrine northeast of the grove. His seal should still be there, near the ruined foundation. Bring it back. The mark on it will tell us whether his watch was an oath he meant to keep forever, or one that the living were supposed to inherit.
In progress
Follow the grove path northeast to the Forgotten Shrine. The return loop leads back toward the western gate.
On completion
The living shall carry the names. He was waiting for someone to take his place. We let an ordinary promise become a prison.
