You've been clearing goblins out around the farms - good. The guard's been tracking the same green-skinned vermin, and command wants a count, not just stories. Bring me six goblin noses. They're unmistakable, and six of them tells me the raiding bands are actually being broken, not just scattered into the next field. Most foragers carry them; any goblin will do.

Six noses. That's a report I can take to the Captain - the raids are being thinned, not just rattled. Good work. But don't get comfortable; if the goblins are this bold near the farms, something deeper in the woods is stirring them up. I fear the worst is still to come.
